It was a nation that started because of Christianity but by no means is it still a Christian nation. If people think it's still a Christian nation look at how corrupt the churches are... Look at how corrupt the "conservative Christian" politicians are... Yes, *sarcasm* America is such a strong Christian nation*end of sarcasm*. The only people who are still kind and compassionate are the ones who aren't Christian or who blaze the trail and make their own religion. Nowadays Christians are just as crazy as Scientologists...

The United States was not started as a Christian Nation. th USA was started as a way to gain religious freedom from persecution from the English

Ah, but most of those people trying to find religous freedom were in fact Christians... and really, alot of criminals were shipped over here too, so is it any wonder we're a screwed up nation?
