I think the answer is patrolman Grove. Although Riann guessed that right. He's story falls through. We are told it is a nice, bright day with sun pouring through the window. From the angle he claims to be at no shadow could be cast looming over his shoulder?

It is the patrolman because he said he was in a cafe across the road, came across the road and hammered on the door... but the door was on the other side of the building.

Hi guys

Just gaze that you are driving a train from London to Manchester. At the first station twenty people get on. At the second six get off and fourteen get on. Third station ten off and six on. At the next three stations no one gets on or off.... the question is... what is the name of the driver?
