I am not really sure how to voice my query on this one.
Basically I am interested in where psychism (like esp, telephathy, telikenesis etc) come from. Is it from the mind, the soul, the aura, something completely external etc.
Well. This is a good question!
The Psychic and Psichic energies that we all posses are from the body, just as our "Will".
Where is this all from though?
Some say the Auras, some say the Chakras, some say the Mind, some say the Will we all posses, etc.
I say;
All of them.
Think about Telekinesis/Psychokinesis. You can spin or move objects at will using your mind. Yet, the way you do it clearly shows some Chakra or Aura or Inner Energy movements, or something of that nature!
Empathy and Telepathy are thought of in the Magickal sense and scientific.
Empathy is thought of as magickal, though it seems it is an opening to one being to another, through energy!
As is Telepathy also!
So what is all this?

That's a brilliant question. It's one that I tried to figure out when I was younger but have given up on and forgotten. I thank you deeply as you have brought back memory of an even more confused me running around.
I've thought of psychic as being simple awareness of energies around you and how they interact with the environment as well as oneself... These being all kinds of spiritual energies....
I'm not sure about the manipulation part of psychicism... that's not as much being psychic as it is being magickal, though. I would say that the difference is that Psychic is being sensitive, while Magick is exerting will to make change in what you can sense around you..

I'd say that pyschic ability comes from the mind. However i'm very open to the ideas that Bloodsoakenwings posted as itcould be "any of the above" so to speak.
