It would appear that many other kin, particularly vamps and weres are attracted to music that hearkens to the past (no not Frank Sinatra) but gothic music, evansescence / nightwish kind of operatic overtones etc. Is this a matter of style or might it be a memory from the past? Are we attracted now to music that has echoes of what we listened to lifetimes ago?
I have always thought so.
My musical taste goes back into the past to romantic times I yearn to return to myself I think.
A time before global warming and world pollution. A time when duels were fought for good name and reputation. A time when a gentleman was just that..... gentle, and a lady was protected, cherished and valued.
I love the music from Phantom of The Opera, Evanessence and Incubus Succubus, and anything that has a haunting sound, echoes of dark opera and classical music with expressions that I relate to being strong, dark and wild, weird and melancholy and of course for me Vampiric.
