Who do you think is the 'best' villain from vampyre, were or any other kin literature. You can take from any book, from any time and can define 'best' in any way you like but you have to have a reason.
My favourite villain is Bram Stoker's Dracula. This is partly because he is so enduring and universal.....after all this time all the modern Draculas and indeed many of the modern vampyres (in literature and film) still have elements of the original. Also it is because he is just such a wonderful blend of irresistable attraction and pure evil
I love the addiction that Dracula brings... He is so stunningly provocative. I wish that I could meet someone so sinister as Bram Stoker's Dracula!
normaly in the books i read the vampires are normaly not complete villains, but anti heros like Lestat in the anne rice collection, but recently ive been reading a book with the best other kin villain ever,
his names Spanky (short for some very long roman name) and his a demon who can only excist in human form by taking the body from a willing victim. his a great character because his very charming and english, i imagin him to be like james bond. at the start of the book he claims to want to help this poor guy make his life better but in fact he is just after his body and will stop at nothing to get it. a very chilling tale

a must read
Sounds a bit like "The tale of the body thief" with Raglan James. I loved that book. Dracula is probably the best villian, but i still love Lestat.
Dracular is good, im halfway through the book at the moment, but to be honest its not scary enough for my liking. its a timeless classic yes, and a great read but it just doesnt scare me much,
thats prob because we have all become desensitised to horror and gore.
True, some more than others though hey terri

What is the name of that book terri, it sounds great and I would like to give it a try
Spanky Chakira, its all i've heard about for weeks! lol

Is that an offer

Maybe... No sorry, it's the name of the book i'm sure
