Does anyone here listen to Nightwish? If you do what do you think of their new album and singer?
I think its a bit too poppy. I wish they had found a more operatic singer. I LOVE their old stuff but now I'm like eh...

I cant say I have ever listened to them. I will look out for them though...but I think I will stick to the older stuff
-smiles- I listen to them quite a bit, though I haven't heard their newest CD, or singer for that matter. I tend to stick to the older stuff on pretty much all the music I listen to, and sometimes listen to it religiously till I get sick of it lol. But what is the name of their new CD? I'll have to look for it if I can.

I like a bit of nighwish, haven't heard the new singer yet though. I heard Tarja's new solo single earlier and it's pretty good. Very nightwishy which is odd as I thought she quit the band as she wanted to concentrate on her opera career and not do rock any more.
WOW...an opera singer doing rock? Sounds awesome...looking back you already said that didnt you TC, well at least implied it...sorry about missing that.....anyway I will DEFINATELY be looking out for their stuff now.
WOW. Thanks Drac. I am not too sure about the first one. I think I was put off by the video because I found it wierdly disturbing. I think it was because of the children. Since I have been a mother I find it really hard to see thinks with children in distress.
I followed the second link and listened to a couple of the songs and I loved them. I am definately going to get Ian to download some for me

I like Nightwish rather than Traja alone.

I have downloaded a cd of assorted Nightwish and am listening to it on the way to work in the car and I can heartily recommend them.
I cant go so far as to say they are likely to be my favourite group ever but they are great car listening. I thought they have a flavour of Evanescence about them.
Like Evanescence, eh? I'll download some of their songs... I love Evanescence...
