Has anyone here ever seen or experienced a ghost, spirit, angel or, orb?
They aren't all the same thing.
Anyone been 'visited'?
Here in the USA there are a few mediums that are very good and well known. Beware of B.S.! AND follow your instincts!

I was splashed by a ghost once. I helped do some cleaning a few years ago in an old converted house which is now a financial advisers office. On the first floor (second if you are American) there is a corridor leading to the kitchen which always felt odd and lonely and seemed as if someone was watching you. Anyway I was taking a glass round to the kitchen which I saw only had a drop of water inside. I got to the corner of the corridor and suddenly I heard a splash and I got drenched in water - It was all over me!! Now physically the water in the glass wasn't enough to wet my t-shirt and trousers.

Also on the second floor there is a room that is always full of dead flies. Sometimes though, you see them alive and flying. Normally flies go round in circles don't they? These flies constantly fly upward and crash into the ceiling and then drop to the ground. When you catch them and go to throw them out the window they always attempt to go back in.

My mum and I used to always joke about the ghost until she talked to one of the staff there. They said it was common knowledge there that it was haunted and no-one liked to be there alone....

It has now come to my attention that a spiritual medium used to live at the premises shortly before the current owners and possibly 'did' some thing/things there. The building was blessed by the current owners but something definitely still remains.

Blessings are good. But, it sounds like that house needs a cleansing. And, I don't mean the soap and water kind. If you know who the ghosts are you can try to tell them that they've passed on and should " go to god" now. You may need a psychic/medium to help, depending on how old the spirit is to find out his/her name.

The flies are wierd. I get flies here that seem dead but when the weather warms or sun warms up the room they 'come alive' and fly around. It's some sort of slumber I suppose. I suggest a fly swatter!

I've never heard of being splashed. Thats a new one for me!

I had a spirit tap me on the back once.
I was with my boyfriend at his house. We were standing in the front door facing out. Someone touched me on the back like they wanted to get by. It was so clear that I turned to see who wanted to get by me. Oh, right, there was nobody else there. He was sitting so it couldn't have been him. My dog was ther and was looking at me but didn't seem upset. But it did look like she was being inquisitive. (you know the doggy look I mean?)

What about the spirit scared you? Just because it was there, or did he do something?

I've been scared several times where I live.
Being in my house scares half my friends, and a family friend two years ago was left to watch our house for the night. We came back and she was hysterical and told us never to leave her in the house alone again. Just last summer my aunt stayed to watch the house, the same thing happened.
Also, in my room, there is a corner of the room that scares me very much. My bed used to be in that corner, and I would get weird feeling as I slept. Once I was lifted from the bed and then slammed back down. Now I have moved the bed away from that corner and it does not happen any more...but now my computer is next to the corner, and I sit just a few inches from that corner when on the computer.
Several times at night it feels like someone is there. Quite a few times I have felt someone place their hand on my shoulder, but a few times the feeling'd move from my shoulder to the back of my neck and I was feel more pressure on my neck as if someone were trying to choke me...I just don't like my house that much, I think that there are a few spirits here. And from what I've heard from a few people..No one has died in my house...But my house may have been buried upon a burial ground...

My last house had a bathroom right off the bedroom. I got up one night and while sitting there(doing what you do in the middle of the night )a dog came in the doorway,which I had left open. I thought it was my dog, but as I reached out to pet her my hand just couldn't reach its forehead. It didn't step back but no matter how far I reached(almost fell off the seat by the way)I couldn't reach a dog whose head should have been inches from my hand. I figure it was there looking for someone who used to live there. I had been there less than a year.

Also in that house.....
When I was first moving in, and there was noone else there, I heard someone call my name efrom a distance. Noone else in the neighborhood with my name.

my grandfathers spirit had come to me one time when i was having a lot of problems. i was sleeping but not sleeping, i sat up in bed and saw him standing in the doorway of my bedroom. he said that everything will be ok. then he went away. after that night, things were going a lot better for me.

AND,
I was lying in bed one night. Opened my eyes and saw someone with their back to my closet door leaning back, arms folded one foot up, bent at the knee, looking at me. I couldn't see his face but I knew by silhouette it was my friend Billy (dead) I thought it must be something hanging in my closet that looks like a person. The doors slid sideways. When I woke up in the morning the doors were closed. Nothing hanging there.
He came to me a different night, in a dream an said, "when you die you can come live with me. It's not your time yet. But when it is you can come here."
Whenm he was alive we were like people that had known each other forever, but we'd only known each other a couple of years. We had the same thoughts, finished each others sentences... I called him my twin brother of a different mother.

when i used to work at dunkin donuts working the midnight shift by myself, there was one night i had the feeling that someone was watching me. i even called the police to check the whole place out. i just had this weird feeling that something was going to happen that when the feelings got strong, it seemed like it was telling me something was going to happen. i went into the freezer to get some bagels out for thawing when i heard things crashing to the floor. the whole shelf of all the jelly pumps gave way and fell to the floor, with the jellies all over the place. after that, the feelings were gone....weird
