:skull: Ok so the basement is a common place where bad things happen. i just recently moved and I have a basement.(duh) it is not a finished basement, it's cinderblocks all the way around the basment. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. They refuse to go down into the dark basement. So i turn on the light they still refuse to go down into the basement. I walk down into the fully lit basement, they follow-with caution. My dogs stay by my side. The cats run back up stairs. Both dogs begin to bark at one corner of the basement, growling the whole nine yards. My heart began to race, the dogs calm down and silence fills the basement. Then a gust of wind comes out of no where, there are windows in the basement, But they don't open. Then we found out the the women that owned the house before us, Both of her husbands died in that house. (she was widowed 2times.) :skull:
Well my first instinct is to ask if there is a third husband buried in the wall in that corner.
Yes I know it is cynical but I have learned that occasionally this kind of approach is quite useful.
Besides what you describe suggests an unhappy person and both dogs and cats know when to clear out if someone is in a mood.

Might be worth investigating.

Zygo
I ADORE dark basements.
BUT every time I go in a deep, dark, damp basement, the scariest thing in there turns out to be...............ME! :(

Just because she buried 2 husband doesn't mean she only had 2 husbands. Why stop at just one more Zygo? There could be a whole pile of them down there. LOL

There could be loads of rational explanations for the behaviour of your animals, but off hand right now I can't think of any of them.

Coo.......... I hope your bulb doesn't blow.
Sounds perfectly feasible to me Zygo.
And who says it's just another dead husband? Could there be dead boyfriends there too?
yes i agree with zygo that you should keep investigating and darkness i dont think there would be a pile of dead husbands cause i think that would stink but back to the subject darksilence you should see if anything else happens there and if things start getting worse only as a last resort i would try one of those parnormal experts
I agree with Darkness, there could be loads of bodies down there :skull: :skull:. Um it wouldnt stink (yet) if said lady used LOADS and LOADS and LOADS of air freshner. ;) ;)
I dont have a basement but i have an attic :) I love my attic :). There are mice living in it :) .Only i have to be carefull not to leave the door to it open or you get the worst draught. Which brings us back to topic :D . You dont need windows to have a draught and said draught doesnt have to be supernatural it could be a gap in the wall bricks or summat.
Cant imagine why youre dogs would be barking at one specific corner though . Maybe there's a secret door behind it and they're afraid of what
lives there........ Or it's just an unhappy ghost like Zygo said.

Shadowed Belief :gdev:
If you think that's bad, just wait until the second cousin twice removed that is emtombed in the attic starts to make noises!!!
XD Hollow you are to funny have u every thought of being a comdeian?
