I was just wondering if anybody else had an experience like this:
This happened a couple of months ago when i was staying with my parents. My parents were gone for the weekend and so i was home alone. it was late at night and i was lying in bed fully awake thinking about whatever when i heard footsteps in the hallway. my body was instantly on alert because i was home alone but i thought maybe i had imagined it so i waited for another sound.
that's when someone came running down the hallway into my room and slapped two hands on my back. i screamed and spun around but no one was there. i didn't hear any footsteps and didn't hear anything else for the rest of the night though i never fell asleep.
the day before i had woken up and had a fifteen minute conversation with who i thought was my mom with a cold doing something down the hall, but then my mom came home and the other voice disappeared.
so has anyone ever experienced something like this? just wondering.
Oh yes, as I have said elsewhere but I don;t know where, when I was child I lived near a cemetery and I used to play there lots and often brought 'friends' home. I used to wake up every day with strange words and symbols written in the mist on the windows.
These days I share the house with a number of 'entities' of varying kinds and I have seen my dad four or five times since he has died.
And then of course there is Marc, my spirit lover. I can't say that I have had much physical contact and what there has been has been very light but I talk to him all the time.
Goodness yes.
I have been having experiences like that ever since I was a young child. Although not many with people/humans, usually 'kin' and/or animals. (Cats, dogs, horses, a bear occasionally and a lion once.)
And on one memorable occasion an extremely large tree!
I do not ever remember being scared though. Only curious and happy.
Perhaps the more like humans they are the more threatening they are perceived to be?
Did these occurances happen in the same house Katie? Just trying to work out if it is the house that is haunted or if perhaps you have merely picked up on a couple of spirits that were 'just passing through'.
I love the idea of you bringing 'friends' home for tea Chakira.
My home also has various bodyless bodies wandering about, but they don't bother me. (They do move things occasionally but I can live with that.) I keep asking them to do the odd bit of dusting and/or drying up as they go around, but so far no joy.

It would seem that a lot of us have non physical lodgers. If anyone find a way of 'persuading' them to do some housework please let me know.
Clearly the cat, the bear, the wold and the various small creatures cannot be expected to tidy up although I get cross if they make things fall over or spill out but the human or nearly human spirits should be able to be of some help
When I was only a few years old I would apparently chat away for hours during the night to the three ladies who stood at the bottom of my bed. I actually can't remember this at all, but my mother did tell me about it a few years ago... the three ladies as I called them were very specific apparently... one was a young girl, the other was a pregnant woman and the third one was a very old and wise woman!
I currently share my house with a spirit cat and a man.... I've not seen him yet but have heard him and been aware of him. Virtually everyone who comes into my house sees the cat.... even my physical cats play with it.
Other entities have been drawn to my home and to me and have stayed for a short while before moving on.
it was the same house and i think the same being. i think i was afraid because i thought it was a live persona and simply because she hit me! i was like, oh great, now she's getting physical, what else can she do, and since i don't know what she wants because she won't or can't tell me will she get angry with me and hurt me?
but where ever i live i end up 'collecting' spirits. it's weird because i'll go to a place and spend a week or so there and not even feel anything and then i move in and the first night i feel the shift. in canada they liked to open doors and shut them (i think they found it amusing when me and my roommate would squeal like little girls) things get moved, go missing, people walk around when there's no one here. that sort of thing. i've been accustomed to that for a long time since it's basically always happened, but that one girl was the first one to actually hit me. i mean, it didn't really hurt and there were no marks but it did sting. i'm glad i'm not the only one though. and seriously ctm? a tree? that's wicked!
This is probably a very stupid question so forgive me but....have you tried talking to the girl Katie, asking her what she wants from you and why she is so angry or frustrated?

I have experienced so much that there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that they are here, everywhere.
I was pulled away from a car once when it ran a red light, It still hit me but without the pull out of the way it would have hit me full on at more than 40mph. As it was I hit the front wing and side mirror which messed up my knee and left me with a suspected fractured wrist but essentially left me unharmed and a sight better of than if the crazy driver had "really" hit me.
I think that was a gentleman who inhabited the house I worked in and had followed me to the shop.
I said thankyou but he never did say if it was him or not.
C.T.M I like the tree beings they are some really cool people but it's quite disconcerting the first time a tree walk towards you and introduces itself.

I am afraid that I have yet to meet the tree beings you talk of, although maybe I have, I have certainly spoken to tree spirits maybe they just didnt move the whole tree.
I am sure that Hollow Man made the connection a long time ago Zygo, he has been the crone to my maiden for years (that's my story and I am sticking to it)
I have hugged many trees, I cannot tell you how delighted I would be if one hugged me back.
You are very lucky to have had the kind of contact that truly connects from their side aswell as yours Lady C.
I have seen spirits and the lights that spirits project, but I have never been touched by one. I am not surprised you didn't like it Katie. I don't think I'd fancy that much, and I know I would find it scary.
