Hey i was did that survey the one guy posted and all the werid question he asked like were do u live i think hes a hunter an amatuer at that and have any of u encounter hunters in if so or not and u know about them i would like 2 know what kind of equipment they use so i can prepare myself encase one ever trys 2 attack me i mean i am already prepared but i would like 2 know what i am up against so i know what 2 do so if any 1 would like 2 share there wisdom that would help thanx

Well, the survey we concluded may not be a Hunter, but someone who likes to put their nose somewhere where they shouldn't. It is okay to share information about people, but once you start asking where you live and such, they only use it supposively to show data, but one never knows. It is just very suspicious, it does not neccasarily mean he is a Hunter.
But anyway, Hunters, such as Otherkin and Humans and Occultists, evolved over the years to keep up with today's technologies.
You know the Silver Bullet trick in most Fictional movies against Werewolves? Is it real? You bet'cha. To an extent some Hunters get or make custom made Silver bullets to shoot into Werewolves, or any other Were that would be "allergic" to silver, do to the relation between the Moon's power and Silver's power / relationt to the moon.
Also with Vampyres, I'm not too sure but for Psichic ones, I do know that Hunters, most who hunt Vampyres, know how to block the attacks out using Magickal means.
As for anything like Harnessed Sunlight... unless they have a type of round like that, I'm not sure HOW good it would even work, since the Sun weakens us and causes blisters and such, not too sure how it would effect us if in organs. I know it would be bad, but it all depends... [someone else talk about Vampyre Hunters..pplleeaassee! XD]
But the Religious symbols such as Crosses and Holy Water are myths. Only if the Vampyre THINKS it will hurt them, will it actually hurt them, in a fake-mental way. Vampyres are not an abomination of the Church.
As for that, I'll look into it. But I doubt anyone is going to attack you Wolfy. It's not like someone is going to wake up and say "Oh no, that thirteen year old is a Werewolf, I have to kill him!"
Especially in these days and times, murders happen, but I don't believe as often as the news makes them sound.
I sincerely hate the way Hollywood paints us. All of us. Silver for the weres and crosses and holy water for the vamps. It's not fiar, lets find a weakness of theirs and make fun of it, then we could broadcast it across the planet. There's some reversal for yah.

Mind you, there is strength in misinformation also. If humanity as a whole beleive us to be fakes, freaks etc etc or creatures who dissolve in the sunlight then it prevents people who seriously have problems with Otherkin looking too closely for what our 'real' weaknesses are.....like being overconfident, hot blooded, lettting the 'red rage' cloud our judement etc
Maybe we have a lot to thank Holywood for after all if the worse that hunters are armed with are bottles of holy water and silver crosses

A stake will kill anyone be they human were vampire or alien it's going to make a mess.
As would any of the supposed movie technologies like sunshine bullets and holywater arrows.
The ones to watch out for are the ones that use witchcraft.
If they are strong enough and nasty enough there may be a problem ...best defence all round is to be careful who you tell and stay reasonably anonymous.
The people that go on the TV saying they are Vampires ...to be honest aren't, no true vampire or Were would put themselves in that kind of position.
Otherkin in general are much safer if they stay reasonalby quiet about what they are and are just seen as whacky off the wall people that no one really understands.
Alpha has had experience of hunters in this lifetime ..perhaps you could email him and ask if he has any further advice.

Alpha told me about his experiances and i'll tell you that scared the crap out of me! I wont share it out of respect for his personal life. I don't know much of vamp hunters but i know more of were hunters and weaknesses. I have accadently encountered a few things but nothing serious.
Wolfy as for this survey i say its just someone wanting to know stuff. Nothing serious or to be alarmed about.

He might not be mad. He hasn't been on in awhile, and I have not seen Fay on any of the Messengers I have her on, as her online.
So they could just be busy.
If I can find it, I might have Alpha and I's LONG and vivid PM conversation about Hunters. Got really into depth about his stories and exactly what they tried against him.
Truely inspirational, if I can find those PMs.. I need to reread them anyway.
